About this Session
Both LCA and the circular economy aim to do right by the environment, yet what is circular may not outperform linear alternatives in LCA, and vice-versa. This session will speak to how the circular economy and LCA can be combined to maximize environmental benefits and lessen human impact on the environment. The session will also speak on how to navigate tough decisions when they conflict, calling to mind that the linear economy had decades to optimize, which has environmental implications in addition to economics.
